KAMAN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGIES NAMES STEVEN KENNEDY AS DISTRICT MANAGER, SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND

Kaman Industrial Technologies announced today the appointment of Steven R. Kennedy to the position of district manager for Kaman's Southern New England district, reporting to Donald Roland, regional manager, Eastern Region.

Kennedy will direct the district's sales, service and operations and will be responsible for the growth of market share and the achievement of regional objectives through his strategic management of the district's sales, inventory, operating expenses and personnel.

Kennedy has progressed steadily through his 19-year sales and management career. He has excelled in a variety of industrial markets selling in both local and corporate environments. Prior to joining Kaman Industrial Technologies, Kennedy worked for Bearings Specialty, Air Power of New England, Patten Corp., Homerica Realty and Vibrometer.

Since joining Kaman Industrial Technologies as a professional account manager in 1997 he has demonstrated an ability to maximize his contribution to the company's sales, resulting in his promotion to branch manager for Kaman's Woburn, Mass branch in 2000. Kennedy has also been the recipient of Kaman's "Special Recognition Award" for outstanding sales accomplishments presented by Jack Cahill, the division's president.
