Kaman Filter Cart Model 634:

As much as 70% of hydraulic system failures can be attributed to contaminated fluids.  These failures can result in unanticipated downtime, negatively affecting revenue.  Add the cost of hazardous waste disposal of used fluids and it becomes obvious that prolonging fluid life makes economic sense.

Clean systems run more efficiently.  High level (Beta 200) filtration helps to reduce friction and heat while saving energy.  All this contributes to increased component life, longer runtimes and lower operational costs.

The Kaman Filter Cart may be used in an unattended mode for off-line filtration of hydraulic fluid and lube oil reservoirs, and for transferring or adding fluid to systems.  It offers several design advantages, including:

  • Ergonomic design with low center of gravity w/ large 18" hard rubber wheels add up to ease of mobility and no flats
  • A 3-way valve to bypass filters for transfer only applications, for maximum versatility
  • Quick disconnect fitting on return hose for quickly converting to transfer only mode
  • Start/stop switch with overload protection
  • Stainless steel pickup and discharge tubes to prevent contamination from pipe corrosion
  • Industrial grade internal gear pump, designed for quiet operation and long economical service life - handles many types of fluids including high viscosity oils up to 1000 SSU
  • Twice the contaminate holding capacity of most other carts means twice as long between filter changes
  • Multiple filter elements available, including water removal - elements can easily be changed for specific applications
